HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - A man has died after an ATV crash in Perry County.
Mr. Epperson was just helping out a friend with a chore.
?My neighbor walked down through the yard and told me that we've got a four-wheeler in this creek,? said James Epperson.
However, it quickly turned into an investigation, when he found something most hope to never see.
?You could see the four-wheeler from the grass line but we walked into the weeds and when I walked over there I found him laying in the creek face down,? said Epperson.
The deputy coroner identified the body as 36 yr. old, Rexford Noble Jr., who was better known as Tiger.
He died after he crashed his ATV off of Big Creek Rd. in Hazard.
?He veered off the road over to the left side over the embankment. State Police said it was probably 25 ft. downhill,? said Deputy Coroner Jeffrey Combs.
A road that Mr. Epperson said has put numerous people in danger.
?I believe there needs to be guard rails up on these high banks, because that's a high drop off,? said Epperson.
Police said the man was reported missing that same day, and the coroner reported that it could have been at least a day before he was ever found.
Even for a military man, Epperson says it was still a disturbing sight.
?It aint no pretty sight no matter how many times you see it, but I hate anything like that happened, said Epperson.
Police are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
